Can BlogRush Surpass McDonald’s
What you never heard of BlogRush? Just look to the right of this post and you can see this great new widget in action. So how does it work? BlogRush is a network of blogs that run this widget on their blog, when the widget is loaded it contains 5 links that are blog post titles to other BlogRush members posts. When you click on one of the links in the widget it opens a new browser window bringing 
you to the blog and the full post. When you sign up and use this widget on your blog you earn credits for each time the widget is loaded, you also earn credits based on all the activity through 10 levels of referrals.
BlogRush now in Phase 2 has pulled the plug on 10,000 blogs that was using this widget due to not adhering to the rules. With greater reporting statistics and a more streamlined dashboard, users can eally get an idea of what credits they have earned and what credits have been used along with what posts have been read from readers of blogs that clicked on their posts from within the BlogRush widget. Since releasing Phase 2 BlogRush has seen a 42% increase in click-rates across the entire network of blogs according to John Reese at Income.com.
BlogRush only available in one color and size at time of launch now has multiple color schemes to match your blog layout and a new slimmer widget design is available for blogs with smaller columns. Promising more changes to improve click-through rates which will send members more traffic, BlogRush is quickly heading towards their one billionth blog headline served which seems to be well on it’s way to surpassing Mcdonalds in people served.
John Reese say’s “we now have the data that PROVES that BlogRush, as a system for driving valuable, targeted blog readers to other blogs, 100% WORKS. It just requires that our members give the widget high enough placement so visitors will see it and can use it.”
I would have to agree with John to get the best possible traffic from using this widget you should place the widget somewhere near the top of your Blog as this will encourage your readers to find something of interest to them and earn you credits as they click on the links provided in the widget. I have been using this widget for about three weeks now and have only received about 32 clicks to my blog, but that’s 32 visits that I did not have without using the widget. For now I will continue to use it and see what else John has in store for this. If I find I need the real estate on my blog for something better then I will have to make that decision to pull it off.
