Problem with Entrecard and Firefox
Anybody else having problems with Entrecard? I try to drop my cards on other sites but I cannot do it using Firefox browser. I can do it using Internet Explorer, but for some reason when I use Firefox I get “Get It” instead of “Drop Yours”. While I am pointing out problems I am having with Entrecard I should also mention for you Entrecard users out there, How about looking at your dashboard once in a while. I still adverts waiting to be approved or denied since January 3rd, I don’t want to cancel as I think this will have a negative impact on my Advert rating. On the plus side I do like the new changes that the folks at Entrecard have come up with, the new way of displaying the inbox is very cool, and I like the fact that I can add my favorites.

Answer to my problem solved: clear your cache, close firefox, then open it again and log back into Entrecard…everything should be back to normal.

Entrecard is in the process of adding a new seerver maybe that is the problem.I am trying to get them o change my advert approval time to read correct as of now it reads average wait time 6 days which is wrong.I have not got much luck with admin there.
The widget is working fine with my opera browser.

That’s really weird… I use Firefox and don’t have any problem with Entrecard drops at all. Have you checked the entrecard forums to see if there’s something else it might be?
I agree with you on waiting for ad approval. I give them 7 days to approve or deny, now, and then cancel. It hasn’t seemed to hurt my stats so far.

I found while bookmarking the entre carded blogs, when I showed all my tags at once, I click on one of them to look at the blog and find the entre card it
disappears on some of the blogs and I have to go back to the blog to find the card and click on it….or maybe it is something to do with using dial-up internet connection…..

I have had that happen in firefox once or twice. I logged out of entrecard and logged back in and everything was fine. I have not experienced the problem in about two weeks now.

Check your cookie/security settings. If you aren’t logged in to Entrecard you won’t see the Drop Yours on the widget. Once you log in, then the widget on sites can see that you are logged in. If you are rejecting/clearing your cookies then the widget won’t know who you are.
That’s my guess, anyway.
On an unrelated note, you may want to reconsider the background music on your blog. It’s likely to chase many users away who would prefer a silent experience, or their own music.

I agree with Walt. This happened to me a while back. Click on tools, Clear private data. Then do a (control – f5) combination click. Then log back into Entrecard and you should be able to drop again.

Hope you get some traffic from it, and I love your blog.

Hi Raymond!
“I still adverts waiting to be approved or denied since January 3rd, I don’t want to cancel as I think this will have a negative impact on my Advert rating.”
If publishers take a long time to approve or decline your ad, you can cancel and take back your money, without having your advert rating impacted. However, if you do decline an advert from somebody, AFTER you have approved it, that will show.
You should not have your ec´s hanging around without being able to use it on somebody else´s blog, just because people dont take the time to approve or decline your advert!
keep up the good work!
